Why Ghunbc?
The Ghanaian Hungarian Business Council (GHUNBC) was graciously conducted by H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Awal Mohammed, Minister of Business Development of the Republic of Ghana and H.E. Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, at the 3rd Ghana-Hungary Business Forum, held on 1st December 2017 in Accra. GHUNBC’s main objective is to provide an avenue for companies registered in Hungary and Ghana to collaborate and partner with each other to enhance business growth as well as promote trade and investment.
Hungary-Africa Week in September.
The Foundation for Africa and its partners are organizing the Hungary-Africa Week, a multi-sectoral thematic series of events, which will take place from the 12th to 18th of September 2022 in Budapest, where economic, diplomatic, educational and scientific, international development, humanitarian, and cultural synergies will be the main focus. A highlight of the Hungary-Africa Week will be the Business Days in Budapest on the 13th and 14th of September, which aim to provide an opportunity for African and Hungarian economic operators to meet and support the development of effective partnerships

Geography
Located on the Gulf of Guinea, a few degrees north of the Equator, Ghana spans an area of 239,535 km2 (92,485 sq mi). Ghana has an Atlantic coastline that stretches 560 kilometers (350 miles) on the Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean to its south. The country is geographically closer to the intersection of the Prime Meridian and the Equator than any other country.

As of 2019, Ghana has a population of 30,083,000. Around 29% of the population is under the age of 15, while persons aged 15–64 make up 57.8 percent of the population. The median age of Ghanaian citizens is 30 years old with an average household size is 3.6 persons

Since independence, Ghana has been devoted to ideals of nonalignment and is a founding member of the Non-Aligned Movement. Ghana favors international and regional political and economic co-operation, and is an active member of the United Nations and the African Union.
